It's two wires yellow and yellow black. I'm trying the same thing on my race sled, but when I hook up the wires , the tach works fine at idle but when you get past 4 or 5 thousand rpm it quits working. ?????
Anyone have a fix?

The 550s are very lean from the factory , if u r plugs are a little light colored consider jetting up and moving your needle position
