In Topic: spark plugs

i remember reading a post awhile back on plugs but i cant find it. im wondering what the proper plug is for my 2004 600ho? i have br9ecs plugs now and thats what the part store has in there books. i recall something about a br9ecs-5 plug for the ho model. what plug is the right one? better? what effect will either have? thanks
Call your dealer. Plugs can/have changed for sleds after owner manuals have been printed.
br9ecs-5 pre-gapped @ .018 for all carbed revs
I will have to disagree somewhat. My 06 GSX 500SS uses BR9ECS-5 @ .5mm(.019") like you said, but my 07 MXZ 500SS uses BR10ECS @ .75mm(.030"). These are from the dealer. Difference is said to come from different spark curves in the MPEM.

The motors coming out of a zx chassis, would I have any trouble running the tnx 34 carbs?
If you are talking about the 600cc carbed motor, it uses 40mm carbs. Not sure how it would work with the smaller carbs.

Do you remember what the name of the chinese restaurant was? Was there more than 1 in town? How was the chinese food?Hey
Did this loop last week, I would recommend valentine farms B&B in Chapleau. I've been there 3 times now and they have a hot tub and are right beside the ski-doo trail. http://valentinefarms.ca/ We just got chinese food delivered! Real nice people
I don't know about hornepayne, but we rode from Hearst to Wawa and got there well before dark. It's pretty fast trail up there. I've heard guys mention on here about Uncles restaurant and lodge in hornepayne but I have personally never been there.
good luck
