If not in a projector housing, they scatter light more than a regular bulb. I just put some in my Scion. But I adjusted them down a bit so I don't blind anyone and haven't had any complaints from anyone. They sure light up the road better.

I rode 430 miles this weekend in northern Wisconsin. Were most of the trails beat up? You know it. But there was soooo many sleds up there it was ridiculous. We did find a few groomed and smooth trails though, also saw the groomer pass by the house in Saint Germain. They were definitely out.

Headed to Saint Germain or Mercer on Friday, riding Saturday and Sunday, possibly Monday, coming home Tuesday. They're supposed to get pounded with snow this week.

i can honestly say that i have never seen a 1200 on the trail or on the lake. even at a bar around here

Me either... I can't recall seeing many, if any. The last time I rode in northern Wi and the UP about a month or so ago, I know I didn't see any 1200's, saw maaaaaaaaaaaany of the new turbo cats, though.
