Rear suspension swap
25 January 2012 - 10:57 AM
Hi!Here's my history.I'm building a snow drag snowmobile,a 1998 MachZ 800.I went from a 121" suspension to a 136" from an LT model. No big deal until i decide to put 8 tooth drivers to make room for my 1.75" lug track. Now the track is touching the kind of spacers that are welded on the front shaft that attaches to the tunnel.Never watch the center to center because i didn't know that i had to watch for it.The suspension doesn't act very well.I can barely press it down and it act like a trampoline.Hope someone had done this and can give me an how-to....Thanks.
