Same sled, same forum. Simple. It's not like the XM is a completely different sled like in the past s chassis to ZX, ZX to REV, REV to XP, all of those were major changes. XM is just a refined XP chassis.

In Topic: Track comparison?
31 March 2013 - 04:19 PM
I went with a 163 flex coming from a 154. Night and day difference in traction and flotation. Tranches way less than the 54 and takes me places I couldn't go before. When I was looking around I was told avoid the peak as it trenches like crazy and that the CE was pretty much identical to the ski-doo track except for price.
In Topic: How many days of Mountain riding in an average season?

If it wasn't for school getting in the way it would be a lot more. Only got 8 trips in this year but still had 21 days of riding at 8 hours or more. Hopefully next year I wont have to teach Mondays and Thursday nights. As soon as schools done I should be about 3/4 weekends of the month.
7 seasons for advanced riders seems subjective. I've been in the backcountry for 4 years now and I'm not saying I'm the best but I've gone a lot more places then people that have been riding for more years than me. I've tried to take people to places I consider intermediate terrain and they were s!tting their pants about where we were. I'm curious as to what they consider advanced riding really.

On the Polaris vs Doo comparison, I like the Doo guages more but I love how you can see what codes you throw with a pro without having to take it into the shop and hook it up to buds system. Has come in handy before when the light comes on and it runs like crap. With the pro you can at least figure it out right then and there and see what you can do about it
In Topic: flex edge track junk!

I would be trying a different dealer. Its not like paddles are missing, 3 inches of track are missing all in a strip. If it was overheated that bad it should have been continuous along the entire track, not just the outside strip
