I have one on my 13x and I have used it twice this year. Not as comfy or as high as the X seat but it is perfect for 2 up riding. I have the 270/271 torsions in on setting 3. I am 6'4 245 and poped the 1+1 on and put my girl on, she is 5'2 120, and didn't change the torsions and still didn't bottom out, didn't even know she was back there. Well worth the cash cause she is comfy and happy when we go two up. When I am by myself, that seat isn't even close to the same area of my sled!!!

Had the same problem on my 09 (Doo tunnel braces) and not a problem on my 13' with Doo tunnel braces. The Doo tunnel braces have a little kick-out on them to move your heel away from the tunnel just a bit. If you don't want the braces, then a button head os the way to go. Never had an issue with the chaincase bolt though.
