Blue,

Putting a Chevy motor in a Pontiac is just wrong. Seems where you came from thats what everyone did. Alot of tuners can be blind to building a Pontiac motor. By your post I can see that you think Pontiac and Olds muscle car owners are inferior and they think they are faster than they really are.

I'm not going to try and change your blind point of view but I will tell you that my 69 Firebird has never been beat in a street race. No sense in getting into details but I run a 462 built by Kauffman Racing.

Sounds like a great project. If you are not on top of rock and your water source is not too deep, it doesn't take much to drive a sand point and put a pitcher pump on it. That way you would at least have a water supply.
