Warlock, i have a 2006 mach z  1000 x package 2800 miles on it . just bought it for 3400. put 1000 into it got it on the trail  engine seized. it goes to dealer tomorrow. my question to you is im trying to cut my losses . did you have good luck parting out yours?

Sounds like clutch spring is sacked. Have you checked compression? You should not have to take away weight if nothing else changed. It could also act this way if the belt is too tight.

Lots of field testing, you  have no idea, dyno is a great testing tool, I prefer track dynos.  2hp is probably at the track, right?  I don't care what the hp is at the motor, got to get it to the track, I'm glad your getting great results, not arguing with you, has your motor been ported?  Many spend lots of money on go fast parts, but can't get the added hp to the track.  I was just curious to see if you switched the y-pipe back and forth with the mule sled and yours, this perhaps would be a great field test provided the motors are same hp.  Pretty hard to find two exact motors out of the box, different conditions merit different results, sounds like yours is running really well, that's awesome, glad to hear it.   :biggrin_old:
