V-twin Rev

its a 2006 Grand Touring X..I just can't get used to the name GTX for a touring sled.lol..The guy spent $600,00 at a dealer before the season, and didnt put more than 100 miles on it. said he no longer had time to ride,as he was working too much. it just turned 5000 miles, its the 500ss (600cc engine) I paid $2,900.00 & got a $300.00 SD cover with it..looks really nice..I will do some service of it over the summer, & will be looking for suggestions, what to check and change..thanks guys for the infor and suggestions, I asked while looking at it..the two ups are really hard to find..thanks

I hit search & found several..but from your experience, which one if the most informed and does not skip steps,etc..a link would be great!! Thanks..I know the book edition vs the CD..I guess it wouldn't matter much..I'd like one asap...

On the way home, after buying a used 2006 GTX 500SS, I stopped at the self serve car wash..I pressure washed (Carefully) the motor and outside the sled. Got home started it & it ran fine..I turned it off and made room in my garage..came back out later and started the sled..it started beeping and gauge lights came on..I wiggled the tether cap around & it didn't seem to help..let it dry overnight..& tried at noon today..same thing..lol..okay, suggestions what to look for..thanks..

Well I drove a Rev GTX a week ago & I was toast!!! after listing my Ski doo Grand Touring on a local Craigslist, I had an Explosive sale of my sled, and it was gone in less than 24 hours..with 2 people on the waiting list.lol! So I've been looking a used GTX touring sleds and found a used 06 with about 5,001 miles on it..its a 500ss and does not have the SDI. price is around $3200.00. clean otherwise..or should I wait for one with SDI...might buy this weekend..any comments? is the 500 (I know its really a 600cc) are these 500ss engines ok..Ive been out of sleding for 5 years, so the models are kind of new to me..any Ideas, suggestions, comments are welcome..thanks!!oh..anyone know of a good sled/deal on a used GTX..let me know...

What can I expect in ride & handling difference. coming from a ZX Touring to a Rev style touring (GTX). I may pick up a nice 2007 GTx touring....is there much difference? Is the rear suspension different than mine?  Conming from a 2002 ZX Grad Touring currently-tks
