It's barley louder then stock.  Most can't tell I'm running a can

I went with the SPI as well. I like the sound, close to stock, and I can put my muffpot on it. The finish is nice but the front hook for the exhaust spring is in the wrong place. I had to rivet another hook on the sled to mount to or the can would vibrate. Was this the same with yours as well?

Try riding down the trail with your feet in the foot wells. Once your in the deep step back about a foot. I have my front shocks on 3, center shock mid way and rear torsions on 4 or 5. I weigh 195.

In Topic: 2008 XP improve handling S36 Handling Kit, or T-Motion Kit

Personally I would go with the S-36 kit. On my 08 the 2 best upgrades were a CE 2.5" track and the S-36. Tried alot of other things but these definitely made the most difference. The narrow stance just made getting the sled on it's side so easy. Actually tipped it over a couple times the first time I rode it. I think the t-motion and flex track work well too as I now have an XM but I don't think they affect handling as much as the narrow stance.

Another upgrade that I didn't get to try but heard great things about was the post forward mod by C3. I think for $500 you might be able to do both. You also get brand new shocks with the S-36 kit.

In the future if you want to protect the s-module consider Grip and Rip braces. Cheap insurance.
