Well, the Fryeburg area still has some snow on the ground but we are done grooming for the season. We received most of our snow near the end of the season which reallt hurt due to the warmer temperatures at night. Never really got a good base established at all. hopefully next year will be better..

that was probably david by himself.wishing his brother clayton (god rest his sole) was with him.both have been super on the trails over the years.amen
It was Dave. If you think about it, with many of the clubs, those who helped create the network of trails in many areas during the 70's and 80's are still some of the only ones taking care of them now. We are thankful for any help we can get. Something really needs to change. Not sure what will get other snowmobilers to want to help without being forced to doo it or pay more in order to hire some one to doo it. ![]()

Lots of people riding this weekend. Lots of people getting stuck in the deep and extremely dry snow, aka POWDAH!!! Talked to one kid (local) who had a piped sled with a sweet custom graphics kit and a two year old registration sticker if he could help out the club and you can imagine his response. Karma does not work fast enough for me with these jerks/punks. Glad to see here on Doo-Talk there are still some dedicated and responsable riders out there. Keep up the good work!
Something needs to change though or the sport will continue to decline.

Spent pretty much all of yesterday clearing 12"+ slabs of river ice from one long section of a trail near my house. Slabs of ice piled up every which way. Used nothing but my splitting axe and bare hands.
Made lots and lots of ice cubes! whose ready for some mixed drinks? ![]()
