As far as I'm concerned, improving stability trumps everything. I'm a fat old man, and in the past, bopping down a rough trail at 25mph took all my attention. Now, I have the leisure to take in all the great scenery.

Very nice! I recently enjoyed a week in Haines, Alaska and the view is very similar...and, we enjoy the hp advantage of a mile less in altitude...LOL.

Camoplast makes a 146x15x1.375 track I'd like to try. Plus, I went the extra mile and got the rebuildable shocks...the right Summit skid would already have them and the end result might be lighter.

I turned my '07 Freestyle into a sorta Tundra clone...you might search for my old posts on the subject. If I were to do another one I'd like to start with the complete suspension from a late model 146" Summit. It was a fun project, but by the time I was done, I had way too much invested in it.
