I got a center float 2 this year from Tom's. I have the Tmo installed on my 13' Sport. I will have to go inspect mine now as I am worried I may have the same issue as the OP. I will report my findings...when I get motivated to pull the skid apart. With the season over for me I am now in waterski/boating mode.

I think it is the coolest looking stock sled yet! Just can't justify spending that much for the amount of riding I get to do.

Powder coating weakens if the coater uses too high of a temp. I had a set of spindles done and they baked off all the residue before coating and heated the aluminum way too hot. The bent like silly putty on the first ride. I did get a new set paid for from the powder coater...stand up business! If the powder coater knows what they are doing it will not compromise the strength of the aluminum.
