Clutch Question. What Else?
04 December 2009 - 08:07 PM
Rode my 09 summit 146 800, with new RK Tek Drop in Kit, GR/BL Primary Spring, at 1000', Deep slightly wet snow. Was hitting 7500 on clicker 5. Dropped to 17 gram pins and hit 7900 clicker 5. Am planning on dropping more pin wieght, at this rate I suspect I will be at 15 grams to hit 8300-8400 in clicker 3 or 4. The queston is, Is this normal, should I change springs, anything else? If you add horsepower is it normal to have to drop pin wieght to achieve RPM? Any suggestions? Need more info? Thanks.
Boss Poor Customer Service and Worse Build Quality
04 December 2009 - 07:19 PM
Boss sent me a seat that was not built well. I fixed a few seams myself and attempted to install it only to have another much more important seam come undone. They said I had to pay shipping to get it fixed. Keep in mind brand new not used. I told them it is cheaper to pay a local shop to fix it and they should reimburse me to do so. Not an option. I took it to Alaska Tent and Tarp and they fixed it in two minutes free of charge, Now that’s customer service. Boss will not get my business again and I hope others will think twice before buying from them. At the very least ask them before you buy what will happen if you receive your "NEW" product damaged. Will you have to pay to ship it back to them to repair it?
