2010 800 R Oil Consumption

Started out this season with an allmost new 2010 Renegade 800R. It had 200 miles on it and never at the dealership for 10 hour check up. Anyways it drank oil like college kids drinking beer a pub crawl. Dealer told me to back off oil adjuster( used the manual and set it as close to spec as I could. I ran out of cable adjustment just shy of the spec setting. Heres my result: before adjustment 15 litres gas 1 litre oil
                                                                                      after adjustment  29 litres gas 1 litre oil
This is running fairly hard, powder snow and lots of w.o.throttle. This seems a little heavy on the oil to me but I can't compare as all of my previous sleds were e-techs and s.d.i. It gets decent fuel mileage and runs great! Anyone care to share their oil usage would be appreciated, I don't know if I should take back to dealer or not as there is no adjustment left. I checked the oil pump as well, everytrhing looks fine cable is good nothing binding allthough I did notice that there is not a very strong return spring force. The force that returns pump lever to normal when you let off of the throttle.It does return just seems kind of whimpy.

2011 600 e-tech pops and bogs

Brand new 2011 600 backcountry e-tech. Put on 50 miles everything seemed o.k. wife was driving. I decide to try and finish break in for her and find out it has a stumble, bog and sometimes starts popping around 6000-6750 r.p.m of course this is the average trail riding r.p.m. so its very noticible to me. It idles a little rough but we've had two others and they seemed to idle the same.It won't act up when your accelerating hard just when you are coasting along at a nice trail speed. It has lots of balls right up to 8300 r.p.m short bursts of course as I'm trying to break it in. I can run steady above 7000 and it runs fine. Seems to be running lean at the 6000-6750 r.p.m.
     We had two 09's and they ran great other than may be an odd hiccup, I'm hoping it straightens out after breakin, maybe a reflash.
Interested if anyone else is noticing same trouble or what dealer did to correct?
