Looking for a Blizzard for vintage rides and maybe a little vintage cross country racing. Which would be the better choice, a tin belly or an RV chassis? The jackshaft in the tin belly is a plus, but the RV's are just so darn sexy! I have a line on a 78 6500. What can be done to the 6500 as far as suspension tweaks and upgrades to improve ride quality? What can be done for shock upgrades? Thanks.

It seems that the posts I have seen here for these sleds mainly pertain to engine and clutch work and cosmetics. Does anyone have any information to share about shock and ski upgrades and what if anything can be done to the skids ? Is there any info out there on mods that would have been done for cross country racing? Thanks
