WI back pack trip

I am looking into doing a back pack trip from Kimberly WI to our family cabin in Danbury WI this year. What’s the best way to approach this? I would like to set this trip up with rough details like times and distances, along with a general idea on where I would stay along the way. How can I go about setting this up along with gathering all of the county maps to help me get ready?
