Anyone experience accelerated slide wear with rage cages??

Had a nasty hanging idle that started early last year. Always had 20 pilots with 2 turns on the fuel screw. My slides were pretty worn out so I bought another set of carbs. Hanging idle is gone now. Just wondering if the rage cages is shaking the carbs too much wearing out the slides. I don't ride more than 1000 miles a year and had the sled for 5 years now.
Hard to tell by the pics but the edges are worn down around .015".
