Wife ordered my yellow Front Bottom Pan cap for Birthday
30 March 2013 - 10:08 AM
As the title says, she ordered the bottom pan cap for my sled. That will finish out the yellow front end on my GTX. As we type, the sleds in the shop having the rear yellow wheels installed and having the alignment on the skis checked. Figuring on a call soon to come and get the sled, as they told me about an hour to doo it. Pictures to follow. And then, once the yellow pan cap is installed, i will post pix as well. The GTX has taken a new transformation from all Black front to an all Yellow front. Ya, i know. If i wanted all this yellow, i shoulda bought a TNT or something that was yellow...... ![]()

I have 4 brand new, still in the plastic solid Black inner idler wheels. These are 147MM. Ordered wrong ones by mistake, dealer will not take them back so my loss is your gain. These were $154.00 NEW,Asking $100.00 if you buy all 4, or $30.00 each. I also have the 4 Black spoked outer idlers with bearings, in excellent condition that are also 147MM, that i just replaced with yellow idlers. Asking $75.00 if you buy all 4 or $20.00 each. I will have the 2 used rear wheels with bearings next week. They are 180MM. These are Black spoked as well. $50.00 for both or $30.00 each. Package deal for everything, $200.00, plus S&H.

22 March 2013 - 05:03 PM
Finally got some so so weather and installed the 4 middle idlers. Gonna have my dealer doo the rear wheels as i don't want to deal with the shaft spinning and gonna have them check ski alignment while its in there.

Removing Rear wheels on XP
12 March 2013 - 04:32 PM
Going to be changing out the idlers & rear wheels on my sled. The idlers should come right off, once i loosen the track. I have heard that the rear wheels sometimes spin on the shaft. Can i use an impact wrench or doo i hold the bolt on the other side with a wrench when doing so? I guess what i am asking is, are they 2 seperate bolts (1 per side). If i remember correctly, watching my friend, they are 2 seperate bolts, 1 for each rear wheel. Any tricks or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
