So I bought a 11 X 800 etec last year and was fairly impressed with it but with a few glitches.  First of all, I noticed that the RPMs are inconsistent all the time.  I added a Bondi airbox and was recommended to add weight to the primary.  I've f'd around with this clutching trying to get the RPMs consistent and have failed miserably.  I raced a buddy last weekend with a 12 Apex and lost.  This doesnt make any sense to me.  2 Sleds with the same HP but one is 150 lbs lighter and its the slower one???  *%@?
Anyway, I thought I'd put a message up here to see if anyone has actually figured these darn things out or if its just mine that is a lemon?  And also, oil comsumption and fuel consumption are pathetic.  less than 100 miles per L is no better than any other 2 stroke.  And the fuel consumption was no hell either.  A couple L different than a 10 yr old Poo 700.  I should also mention that I have added vents to cool the clutches
