ABSOLUTE 0 JACKET

11 February 2012 - 12:19 PM

Firstly I just wanted to say thank you to BRP, Craig, and all of the other moderators who took the time to read through all of our submissions and decided to give me the chance to review this jacket for you, Dootalk.
When the jacket came in the mail, my first impression was there really was no jacket in the box before me as it was way too light. There just could not be a jacket in this box, so I was surprised to pull this big huge jacket out, and have it be so light. It looks really heavy in appearance.

Key Features:

Venting
Stretch
Sealed Seams
Waterproof
Ergonomic
Breathable
Touring

The SympaTex performance this jacket offers is new to me. I have never had a jacket that has this.

Upon putting the jacket on I was surprised at how light it was. I felt like I had my own personal heating system like a car. I was warm but not too hot, that it was indeed venting and air was moving around. I did want to give it the waterproof test. I was going to hop in the shower but I couldn't bring myself to hopping in the shower with my new jacket. I may do this yet. I'll update you. I am looking forward to see how the jacket keeps dry with weather conditions such as snowing, snow dust, and it melting on the jacket.
The jacket is very flexible. When I sit down it doesn't come up under my chin and choke me to the point where I need to readjust how I am sitting in my vehicle.
I am glad that the jacket offers venting, breathable features (not that women sweat-ha ha) we just don't like to be damp inside our jackets. Posted Image
I hope you can get some good information from my video and it helps you out in making a decision if you are considering to purchase this specific jacket.

I am very sorry for all of the ".....ummmmms" in my video it is really hard talking to the camera.

Weddings

18 January 2012 - 12:16 AM

I have a friend who is getting married in the summer. I can tell you there are so many different things people can do now a days.
So whats the point right.
Well, I am curious as to what sticks out in your memory. What was the coolest thing you saw a couple do? What was the best wedding trinket(matches, shot glass, chocolate left by your food plate to take home)
Just looking for some ideas to suggest to her that other people saw or participated in a wedding.
What memory sticks out at a wedding for you?
