In Topic: VP race fuel

I was looking for places that sells VP race fuel, not whether or not my sled will run on race fuel or not.  The normal place I get it from isn't ordering in time for my first race this year so was looking for other options.

Have you tried Ingles in Phoenix NY 315-598-7422?
Will you be racing ECS at Burke MT in 3 weeks? If so they stock it in the registration trailer.

so you want to go slower and throw good money away...send me some...race fuel is for race motors...high compression big bores with advanced timing and turbo charged motors with tons of boost...stock = 93..if you want you could mix a gal of race gas in..just for the smell.

I can't even tell you how many times I have had this discussion with people.
Race fuel burns cooler and slower to prevent predetonation, if you have a stock motor and want good snap 87 octane is the way to go.

In Topic: Best dealer in NY

I live in NH and I use Ingles, when we bought our sleds we did not know about them if I had to do it again I would have purchased from them also. I can get parts faster from them than I can from any dealer in NH, and their prices are better also. Mike knows his stuff Robin is great to deal with on the phone and the whole staff is always willing to help.
I say go with Ingles.

In Topic: Anybody thinking about switching to Cat?

31 August 2011 - 09:24 PM

Our switch to Cat has nothing to do with the four stroke power plant, my kids race Snocross since the sleds that they are running in the Jr classes are older Doo's and Ski doo not making new Jr class sleds. This is a no brainer we are getting Two 2012 Sno Pro 500's with the throttle blocks and rev limiter kits.
By the way I have Two 2006 Freestyle 300's for sale. Freestyles For Sale in New Hampshire

So yes we are partially switching to Cat My wife and I will still be riding our Ski doo's though.

I have two 2006 Freestyle 300's for sale both with electric start. These make outstanding entry level sleds.
