IMO there are a couple places to gain, a divorced down pipe will help pick up power, however you might need to port the wastegate in order to get it to lower the boost enough with a free flowing muffler when adding the divorced wg.  The extra fuel injector system that hurricane is working with looks neat, its a stand alone box with extra fuel injectors or injector not sure, that fire only on boost.  I would inquire more into this system.  When I built my turbo rzrs the stock injectors run outta fuel so they have a neat little manifold that goes in and a dobeck box that you can tune.  Works awesome.

IMO if you want to run more boost on a stage 1 you need to get the heat out, and the fuel system addressed.

I did check into this Hurricane kit and I haven't ruled it out but I was curious about what other options are out there that people have come across and had success with with there own test and tune. I'm sure that the kit is an awesome addition but by the time I add a fpr and have it shipped to the states I will be knocking on 2 g's.... And I still need to add a clutch, which to those who have offered up options there I will keep you in mind but my clutch choice will probably be my last decision that I make in regards to what I decide to do here over the summer.

bigger injectors, rrfpr and a rbr will get you there

How do the rbr's work? Does that require a map or does it allow you to set your own parameters?

Hurricane (dave) Has a fuel system upgrade alot cheaper than $1200 to get you into the teens.
I have a extra stock manifold if needed. Don't even think of skimping on fuel system. It will bite you everytime.

cheaper then 1200.00 will only get the 9lbs. Set up from what I was quoted.

What about the carbon fiber QRS support that is partially shown in the back of the2014 brochure?

In Topic: mcx stage 2 - anyone added a boost controller?

I have the AEM Tru-Boost gauge which is a gauge and controller together with a high and low boost setting that is easy to change either setting in just a minute or 2 plus it gives you a boost reading to .00 of a lb.. I would recommend it. Works nice.
