Piston Question

Can a 76.25mm top end kit from a sea doo 580 jet ski work on a mxz 583? The std bore for the 583 is 76mm, so the 76.25 should be good to go width wise, but what about height wise??? I can get a top end kit for the jet ski for under 70 shipped and the 583 top end kit is almost 200 shipped. Just thought id ask before i just buy the $200 one.

2001 MXZ 800

I am currently looking into buying a mint 2001 mxz 800 but the motor is out of the sled and in parts. If i can find a decent deal on a complete mxz 800 motor this sled might just be mine and on the trail this winter!! PM me with what you have.

1998 MXZ583 motor

i got a dime size hole in one of my pistons last year. I caught it early enough to stop major damage, but late enough for the hold to form. I am now looking for a top end kit (std or .5 over), a complete 583 w/ low miles, or even a set of use able pistons and rings. My cyl's are still fine and might be in excellent shape after a hone. Anyway PM me if you have anything that would help me get my sled back together.

2004 Snopro 440

I acquired this sled from a friend who got it in trade. Its a 2004 Sno-pro 440 with 3,0?? miles, 94 hours, clutch work, ECU work, custom fabricated seat (stock seat is on it right now), spare belt. The motor has 140 psi in each hole, and fires up and idles/runs good. It was a practice sled at the start of its life but was never really beat on. It will need a new hood (or at least id replace it), there are some cracks that were fixed with zipties. The track is in nice shape and is studded. I really need to get rid of this sled, im not a cat guy!! PM me a reasonable offer and it could be yours.... you might be surprised whatd id take for it. Also interested in trade for REV, sport quad, 4x4 quad, jet ski, dunebuggy/sandrail, lifted golf cart!!!

MXZ 583 pistons and rings

I need a set of standard bore (i believe, ill double check tomorrow) pistons. I burned a hoe in one of mine a week ago, and my cylinders are un scared so new pistons and rings should get me up and running. PM me with what you have.
