Manual sucks....brp should be aware that their instructions suck but they still print it! darn brp, but ya for dootalk guys.

Read the manual instructions then do a search on here. Manual says press high/low beam switch rapidly but what they don't say is, which is very important, don't press it so much that it clicks.

My hot rod is in summer mode (already), my allergies in full swing (:headbang)but now the bikes are coming out :righton

There is a manual underneath your seat. Remove seat, grab manual. Page 118 :)

In Topic: VOTE FOR MY GIRLFRIEND

19 March 2011 - 07:06 AM

I finally have a Saturday to wake up at home at it starts with a 80 lb puppy stepping on my face, then ripping my satin pillow case..followed by husband asking.....have you seen the babes on sled thread on dootalk LOL

Cuz ya know shortly after my eyes open I want to look at chics on sleds.

So hubby shows me the other contestants and I must say it did start the day with a laugh. There's a few funnies lol

Your babe has my vote :righton #6 shouldn't even be a finalist. Getting photoshopped in a pic isn't the same as freezing your boobs off in the snow. #1 Has so much stuffing in her top that it doesn't fit her.

Good luck to your gal

In Topic: Very close to sealing the DEAL

06 March 2011 - 08:54 AM

After my third melt down I took my dealers offer for what was left of my 06 gade and told him to order me a new BCX with the 800 E-tec. What's the good word on the motor, I hope it is better than my P-tec! Is the X package seat alot shorter that a regular non X package, my wife might have to ride on the tunnel LOL! Thanks for the info!

The x package seat is not suitable for 2 people, unless maybe you're both 5' and 110 lbs each.
Neither you or your wife would enjoy doubling on it.
I doubled a guy 140km, after a melt down on the ice. My idea was to ditch the sled and get back across the lakes and bays before dark because they weren't all staked. If I'd known it would be so uncomfortable, I might have done things differently lol

In Topic: BCX...1.5" or 1.75" track

04 March 2011 - 07:11 PM

Curious what you all think.  I have a 2010 - BC Adr that Im trading in for a 2012 - BCX.  I mainly ride in the UP and occasionally in lower WI/Northern Illinois.  Im thinking of going with the 1.5" track option this time around...mainly due to the better trail characteristics that the 1.5" would bring.  I'd say Im 50/50, maybe 60/40 trail riding vs off-trail riding.  When Im riding the lower Wisconsin trails I always feel like Im putting undue wear and tear on my '10 BCA because of the thinner snow conditions sometimes.  In the UP the 1.75" on the BCA is awesome...no worries there...unless things get really "snirty".  Also...would you stud the 1.5" track if you had it (I dont have studs in my 1.75)?  Trying to make up my mind on this. Thanks all.

Ever heard bigger is better? It's true haha

I'm keeping my 1.75 on the trail. It does slow you down (gives my girlie arms a work out)but = more fun off trail.

Studs - good riders don't need studs :)  Adapt your riding to the conditions and take your chances. Bum puckering moments =  fun too.

I don't think riding 1.75 on trail is putting any more "undue wear and tear" as putting studs on 1.5 and riding off trail with studs 50% of the time.

woo hoooooooo let the flaming begin :)
