I have 10000Km on my 08 Renegade 800R.  No mojor problems yet, but its starting to backfire on shutdowns and going into reverse.  Just wondering what kind of milage you guys are getting and what should I expect on this motor.

Duke1- I had a 2008 gadex 800r with over 4200 miles and It was running just as strong as It did when It was new, I ended up totaling the sled so I bought a 2010 Gadex 800r with the insurace money and I still have the sled & It has over 6400 miles & still running strong, I take good care of my sleds, this fall I will have the dealer check the compression & If It's low I will put fresh pistons & rings, but if they tell me It looks good I will just drive It for another season, my dealer told me he's pulled pistons out of 800r motors taht guys wanted freshened up and there motors had over 8000 miles on them & the pistons still looked good! I ride my sled hard but I don't abuse It, & always let It warm up, and run doo's semi synthetic oil, I want to keep for 1 more season & get a 800 etec!! 

I'd get the renegade X & put a 1.75 lug track on and don't look back, If your mainly a trail rider like you say 90/10 then you will like the wider a-arms much better, and you will be able to go off trail just as well as a backcountry with the 1.75 track installed, me and my buddies have done this and logged thousands of miles!!

I can't say enough about the 6.9 pilot skis, run 7.5 shaper bars up the middle, and the stock carbides on the outside, and you have a AWESOME all around ski, for off trail & on trail use, for the renegade this set - up is great, I've tried C&A's and found them to be to aggressive!!

I'm pretty sure Zbroz racing makes some, they make great products, high end A-Arms, and shocks, & you can also contact Ian & Monster Performance, he sells there products and Is great to deal with, he will direct you In the right direction as far as front end, shocks, A-arms, etc!!

over 15000 miles on 6.9 pilots on my last 2 xp renegades.

6" shapers down the center with 4" carbides on the outside and a bit more ski pressure.

love them, they rail, they float and steering effort is much better than the aftermarket skis i have tried.

X2, I also logged over 12,000 miles on 2 gade's 08 gadex with over 5000 miles 6.9 pilots, 7.5 shapers down the middle, stock carbides on the outside, & my current sled Is a 2010 gadeX with 6.9 pilots with the same carbides, and i have over 6500 miles on the sled, I love the skis, I use to be a C&A razor guy they were hard to turn, and darted like crazy, to agressive, I LOVE the 6.9 PILOT's!!
