the rubber on the engine mount had deteriated, I squeezed the mount when I took it off and it came apart.

Also check your pto side engine mounts, mine were toast.

Your supposed to use a spring scale, set the driven spring in the hole that takes 18 lbs to pull the sheaves apart, I believe.

Just want to thank Flash 700 for this again, just got mine apart and there is definite play in the old gear set, would have been a big problem down the road. 6500 miles.
