I am taking my recliner into the garage right now and putting ski's on it for you.Dont worry I will pull you at slow to moderate speed.I am building with quick attach ski's< so I can unhook and get back in house before wife gats home from work.LMAO

This hobby is 50% riding and 50% figuring out how to appease the wife. I would be in the UP next weekend if I didn't have to handle the later.

EPA doesn't restrict engine type or technology. They only care if it meets the emission regs. It can be a steam engine fired by coal if it meets the max allowable emissions.

 

The 600 Etec passes the upcoming emission standards, the 800 does not.

Wasn't there quite a bit of snowmobiling in Inception? Also, "Dead Snow".

I get 20mpg on my Etec 600. The 800 is far less fuel efficient. I personally see no use for the etec 800 unless you are at high altitude... You will get far better power and acceleration with a good track. I was racing a arctic cat 1100 turbo this weekend and he barely beat me....

couldnt agree more, my brother had an 09 x, 2100 miles and down she went no warning signals. he went to the dealer & brp, the dealer gave him a break on a rebuild, and brp gave him a $500 voucher towards a new one. it seems those early girls were running a bit too lean, and the oil consumption isnt quite what the numbers say, which might be a good thing.

Yea, my oil consumption is good.... But not 100:1 on my 2012 Etec 600.... It's probably 60:1.
