ATV's are great for winter or summer! I use my Grizzly year round...just switch the tires for tracks and you're ready to roll :)

skid plate is a must. I personally like the toe hold kit. It's cheap and keeps your feet tucked in. otherwise pretty much a gas and go sled

X2  you hit the nail on the head!  A skid plate is hands down the best insurance for your sled that money can buy....the toe hold kit with knee pads complement the sled nicely.  Enjoy the new ride!

Between the chain and the front rotors, i'd say that's just asking for trouble on a trail.....nothing like a rotor for a bumper lol

4,100 miles on my 2012 800 MXZ TNT...Original Belt still being used and looks great (I always carry an extra).  Not one single problem with this 800 e-tec.  I couldn't be happier with this sled, as I am not easy on anything and this machine has taken a lot of abuse from me.

In Topic: Changing Tracks 1.00 to1.25

I stand corrected. Another money grab from the OEM and it is not just Ski Doo that doesn't put enough track on their high HP sleds and basically force owners to buy bigger tracks to make them work like they were designed to. I still stand by my suggestion to to a 1.5 (not the 1.75 on a shorty) as I have had two 800 shorties with 1/5's and they will go just about everywhere a 136 inch with a 1.25 will.

My 2012 TNT 800 came with a 1" and I couldn't believe the 1.25" ripsaw was not standard.  I upgraded to the 1.25" ripsaw, used it for 2200 miles and last fall put on the 1.375 ice attack. All I can say is Wow!  After 1800 miles this year with the Ice Attack, Im with ilandem and cant say enough positive things about it. It is the perfect hybrid track. Definitely put in tunnel protectors even with the factory studded tracks.
