when I did it on my 03 only one hole lined up. I drove it like that for a lil while until I got a 2 inch extension.

Don't forget about the short chaincase on the 2003. this will prolly change your mounting hole dimensions

I tryed burping the system today and the cooler didn't hardly get warm at all. My temp gauge said that is was at normal operating temps so i am wondering if i did something wrong.
