I have been having trouble with my fuel gauge. (9 gals of gas/5 bars showing ) (+or - 65 miles,
light on) I siphoned all the gas I could get out, raised the front up so remaining gas went to the rear.
Remove belt guard, air box. Tank float is in the front of tank, left side, close to you. Float can be
pulled just wiggling it out, or pushing it back in. Could not see any thing wrong. My brother has
the same sled, so I talked him into removing his to compare. No difference. He put his back in and
noticed the gauge was doing the same as mine did...could only get 5 bars showing with a full tank.
His was perfect before. Solution: HE FOUND IF YOU ROTATE THE FLOAT GAUGE, IN THE GROMMET,
IN THE TANK, COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, WITH ENGINE RUNNING, YOU CAN ADJUST THE BARS ON THE
FUEL GAUGE UP, OR CLOCKWISE TO MAKE THE BARS GO DOWN.

I have a xp x comming and was wondering if you can keep the hand shields with a medium or a tall windshield? I also liked the taller handle bar riser on the summit. What is the standard summit riser height ?(size)?
