Is this going to fit the 2013 OK? Do I need to add fuel with a controller? The MBRP is made out of stainless steel correct?

Whats Cudneys plans for the 2013 1200 with the new clutch or is it to early to know?

Yes the header will fit the 2013. We already have the new clutch and doing testing on the sled but no firm data yet, we will be trying different setups for the new clutch. - Bill

Can you just put on the headers and ride ? Or does the motor need more fuel and clutching ? Thank you !

Throw the header on and ride is what I did for two seasons, but now that my buddy figured out how to get ahead of me on his CFR 800 HO, I'm throwing on an RB3 for next season! Mostly to increase the rev limit, the 1200 wants to rev and all it does is get faster reving it higher, added fuel and timing is also a bonus.

That's a heck of a buy on Headers Bill!!!!!

Like Mike said you do not need an RB 3 controller to run the header. In most 1200's when you add the header a little more weight is needed in the clutch. - Bill

Does this header fit with the stock muffler OR the Straightline Performance can for the 1200 X...?
And if so, what potential added power are we talking about...?

I ask for the SPI Can as i felt the SPI Can was quieter than the mbrp can, am i right...?
Would like added power but not willing to make a lot more noise on the trails.

Let me know what you think Bill, thanks...!

Me and my brother are thinking about going with the full cudney set up for this winter on our 2009 1200's now that we have the bugs worked out of them. I would like to go with a different muffler as well for the weight savings (stock muffler is 26lbs I think???) but I don't want anything loud. I actually have come to like the sound of the stock 1200's. At first I thought they sounded a little wimpy but now I don't mind it. I guess I am getting older and quiet is good. I don't mind a slightly deeper tone or growl to the sled but definitely don't want the loud sound of these cans that some of the young guys have on their sleds....very annoying in my opinion.

With the header you can run any after market muffler or the stock muffler. I can tell you we have run a lot of the aftermarket ones and in my estimation they are all loud, especially for here where they really frown on noise with lots of tickets because of the mufflers. - Bill

Bikemans Performance shop will take your stock muffeler and redo it for performance gains from what they say only a few decibles louder. Save you on tickets after a couple of tickets the aftermarket muffeler can be a nusance. This is the way Iam going. I have the cudney pb 80 clutch and secondary spring and helix. I will be getting the Header while it is on sale

I have the BMP muffler mod and the idle is noticeably louder, after that its about the same as stock
