But as we all know they don't ride as well as the rev's or the XP's.... but they are still a great sled and left many positive memories!

I have ridden some revs and XP's. I have to wait like you and dont mind, but they are impressive.

I had a 1996 Mach Z 780 and it was fun for a while but man you take a beating on it in the trails...heavy sucker...lol Then I went to a 2000 mxz 700. I think they are a solid platform better than what you got now as far as suspension and a lot easier to throw around. Had great fun on a 2000. But then I went to a Rev and never looked back...Like others have said don't ride a Rev or you will be ruined.Anyone have a 2000 MXZ 600? Love to hear your thought on it, like, dislikes, pro's, con's, etc.
Thanks,
Steve

I'm low on funds myself,so I have to wait to get that xp700 or 800,too!.And I've ridden a rev,but for 3 seasons I've ridden the same machine, a zx chassis but a 700. Same thing, even the weight.Get it, its the most fun you can have with your clothes on!....Its fairly light, pretty reliable and that year and mine are a bit lower, so you can set them up to corner hard.It works best on groomed trails, like those guys say, but thats all I do, mostly, so thats fine. And when theres fresh snow, there ok with different skis.Take the time to make sure all the bushings, bearings ,tie rod ends etc are in good shape, and set up the front end geometry as per the manual, set the suspension correctly and you'll have a lot of fun. There's a lot of great advice on here about those, so just ask questions, and you can get it right for your type of riding quickly. Good luck.I have turned down many offers to try a REV for that very reason, I would never be able to get back on my sled. I have always said my next sled will be a Rev, but between Day care & summer camp for my son I don't see it happening anytime soon...The one I am looking at is short money, low miles & in great shape. It will tide me over for another couple of years till I can move on to a Rev....we'll see what happens as money is very tight at the moment...
