Pulled injectors, and fuel rail, with all injectors connected , hit RER?start and mag inner injector opens and sprays fuel continously. remove connector and it(all) injectors hold pressure. Tried switching injector connectors and it is the mag inner connector. checked resistance in all injectors and continuity in wiring harness. all O.K. only thing I found was voltage to mag inner connector has 1.5 volts more than others. when started it beeps continously and lights up all lights, only runs on PTO side. is it an ECM problem or what? Relays, fuses and battery all good.

Hard saying. Did you have it hooked up to buds yet ? I have a few good ECM if you want to buy one I will sell fairly cheap. Along with tons of other rt parts. I own 4 of them. Just let me know.

to rule out it possibly being the injectors, have you swapped the connectors from the injectors that spray fine, as in spray and cut out? to the one that stays open?, i would try that and see what happens, it could be slow to close so maybe it seems like its staying on all the time but then seals when off?, just throwing out ideas....

have not hooked to buds yet, dealer is a week behind. if I hook up any other injectors it sprays fulltime/until pressure is gone. Wish BRP would be kind enough to give software to at least read and clear codes. need ecm last digits 619

the mag inner connector, when connected to any of the four injectors and wake up sled or pull it over makes injector spray massive until pressure is 0. connect all 4 injectors properly and pull over all but mag inner spray properly. remove mag inner and pull over all hold closed. when mag inner connector connected to any injector and hit RER button injector full on spray. connect the mag inner to any injector any time sled is awake and with fuel pressure it opens as soon as connected and stays open.

the wire from the ecm to the injector should be br/gy (Brown Grey) I beleive, it must be drawing power from somewhere. unwrap and separate the loom back to the ecm. once the wires are separated test it again. this will show if it is still drawing power.

test the wires if it is still pumping fuel, right at the ecm. remove the connector and clean it and check for damage. corrosion may cause the power wire to arc from a nearby power source.

Also check your grounds. Add some. Realy.

if it can't find a way to the ground the ecm may be backfeeding from something else.

Let us know.

also this is a MachZ with a long track. you should post in the MachZ section, maybe more assistance.

hmm, also, which i plan to get this winter, there is that CAN DOO PRO, they call them selfs i believe, i had asked and they say that it works with the rt1k, costs about 500$ for the license for like what, 5 sleds?, you can read, and clear your codes, and a whole lotta stuff, i think even adjust your timing?

Sounds like a ground problem, either main ground or the ground side circuit of the effected injector connector. I would go straight to the ECM/wiring and verify the integrity of this circuit and clean connector very well and add main grounds and ECM ground. It's possible this is a bunk ECM but wiring issues and corrossion seem to be a little more common.

added grounds to battery, checked cleaned and added dielectric grease to connections. I made a test harness and what it is telling me is, When the sled is woke up or turned over the connection is getting full voltage (and ground) all the time.
The wiring harness is all good, the connections are all good the injectors are all good, the grounds are all good, fuses relays all good. only thing it can be is the ECM!!! Unless you wizards have any other input guess I will break out the pocket book and pay the dealer for buds and ECM swap.

ecm swap would be expensive through dealer i would think, especially if you get them to buy the ecm, i'd go ebay a ecm and hand them it and tell them to swap it, but first ask if they will, i would bet the ecm otherwise would be a pocket breaker for sure

Holy!! 4 rts..... nice
All 4 are parts sleds?

IMO rockstar tastes like an ashtray.. When tuned right, Monster will add more throttle burps per second than Rockstar.

Hope you didn't whack it too hard...I sure am glad I had the lid on or it could have hurt...

Actually have 5 RT's 2 that I ride and 3 parts sleds, Most everything except good engines, slightly scarred cylinders, good case top halves, cracked bottom case halves and ANYTHING else for the RTs. The prices were right and enough interchangeable parts to warrant buying them. If anyone needs anything let me know.

The 1000's are powerhouses, just heavy and dont compare to the $13,000 sleds, but still hold their own when running right.
