I am looking into upgrading to a 4 placed enclosed trailer. Looking for the Pros and Cons of staggered and side by side styles?

Get the inline. The side by sides pull like a parachute. I've had both and the inline tows so much better.

In-line unless you have a masive truck that would not phase it...plus you can see around them with normal mirror's..

I'm not to worried about the towing aspect, I don't tow much farther than 3 hours away from home. But I will take it into consideration. My concerns are accessibility inside the trailer, room for storage, etc. Just seems that the wider trailer would be easier to move around in.

That's four sleds in my old double wide. It was 8' X 16' with a 4' nose. You can see here, once you get four sleds in there, finding room for the two spare tires was fun.

X2 I've had both and the inline is a lot better. Other than the staggering of sleds, especially if you want a sled in the middle, the inline is a lot better.

If working on a sled in a trailer a side x side will give you more room. You can walk easier in a side x side with sleds in as you can walk right down the center. Storage is a toss up as they are about the same. Inlines pull better, easier to see around, lower stance giving a better angle of the ramps. I hated my ramps on my side x side as it was steep. Basically you could only walk down/up in the ski guides.

Thanks for the info. I bought a 8.5' x 16' with 4' v-nose to use as a 3 place with my Summit 154 and was curious if you could fit 4 shorties in it. But I think a normal 8.5' wide 4 place trailer is 20' box plus 4' v-nose. This is the back of my FIL's 8.5' x 20' 4 place and there is quite a bit of room between the sleds for gas cans, tool boxes, or a Kitty Cat! You can fit a 136 and a 144 sled on each side too.

Then it doesn't matter, we have side x sides and love them for their easy loading and storage. We have 3/4 and 1 ton diesels so it really doesn't matter and we travel 4 to 600 miles to ride good snow. :ridedoo:

28' double wide has plenty of space......

IMO rockstar tastes like an ashtray.. When tuned right, Monster will add more throttle burps per second than Rockstar.

Hope you didn't whack it too hard...I sure am glad I had the lid on or it could have hurt...

Get the inline. I have 29' inline and pull it with my ecoboost. No problems. Also get torsion axels.

My vote is inline. Pulled all the others as well. If your going new, try the 3rd axle... Don't notice mine behind my 1/2 ton. I think CVCOBRA1 would concur. The up-charge isn't much.

A friend of mine has a....Protector? Maybe someone can help. It's a four place. Two by two. And very low. Like four feet. Pulls easy. Just don't forget to duck........
