Starting Friday, 11:30 tunnel. Campers, BBQ's, stories till ? Bring LOTS of gas and suntan lotion.

Who can drop off a bunch FRESH shrimp to the beach at Shotgun cove?

My new replacement Doodoctor floating clutch will be in my hands this Weds so I'll be ready to ride.

Gents, your trips to Whittier sound awesome-this one even better. Question: Would you consider Whittier riding suitable for a novice/intermediate rider? Or is the type of riding done there, more for advanced riders?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I would not consider Whittier Novice territory - just because there are traverses, sidehills and climbs that have to be made, there's no turning out - a turn-out would result in a long trip into trees, deep gullies, cliffs or the ocean.

That said - a novice or even an expert can get themselves into trouble there.

IronDog-Thanks. I knew it included Glacier riding, and figured as much. The scenery and late riding sure make it appealing though. Gotta get a few more miles and seasons under my belt first.

We ended up riding Turnagain yesterday. The weather had already moved into Whittier. This morning it was raining and snowing in Whittier.

Check out the CNFAIC websight. Click on the friends WX station link and then Seattle cam. I am NOT admitting anythingPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image
