Most of the stuff I want to do will take years. I was also thinking about vforce reeds. BUT I am 14 and my parents said if they got me the sled I would have to pay to fix it and anything else I wanted. So some stuff will take time to get the money

dont get Vforce reeds unless you need to reeds(which you wont). you wont notice a difference with them and there are better things to spend your money on.

get the track first.

but yes some runs 1.87 studs in them. i have no knowledge or experience with studding that track though

All sleds iv ever owned were studded. So I don't know how thy are without. But depending on where you live. I live in Maine and we got hammered with snow but then lost it. One day we had over 3 ft on the lake but usually there is about 2-3 in the drifts. Trails usually arnt very hard. Will the 1.75 slow me down on trail?

no it wont slow you down at all for trail riding. and i would say you dont need stud for trail riding in Maine.

you may notice the extra track noise from the 1.75 but thats normal.

K

You should have ordered the BCX 800. Comes with 1.75" track, narrower ski stance and wider skis.

Ah hum........the 1.75 will reduce top speed and studding that track will slow you even more. I live an ride in Maine and have ridden both with an without studs. I never thought I'd run a studded 1.75 but with no control over winter conditions and the ice it brings I had cooling issues without and now with, I have none. I also attribute my addition of studs to a accident that could have been avoided if I had them.
