I need to store my sled for the summer...I know about Stabil and trickle charging, but there seems to be a bit of debate amongst the guys that I don't need to elevate the rear end.
True? False?
Anything else I'm missing?

Actually you're missing quite a bit. Above all, refer to the comprehensive storage checklist in your owners manual. Oil change for engine and chaincase, plus greasing chassis jump out as the biggies you didn't mention. Clutch cleaning, chain tension adjust, etc.

Do you know how to fix your own sled, but are tired of being chained to a dealer for B.U.D.S. hookups, D.E.S.S. key programing, and troubleshooting diagnostics?  Do you own an independent repair or performance shop?  Craze1cars endorses this Dootalk sponsor, who has developed and sells an outstanding diagnostic system for Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Yamaha, and Kawasaki:

Elevate the rear end, especially if stored on bare ground!
