Hey everyone! :HowYouDooin:
Kinda fell off the radar for a bit haha, just been busy with school. Now gonna start working on my sled a bit to get me thru the summer, and I need to buy something for her anyways lol Plans for the summer are:
-Tear apart both clutches, replace worn parts, etc etc
-While I'm in there Install a DJ Dual Elevation Clutch Kit :checkerd Currently talking to Joe to get that all set up. Will make some videos of it in action next winter and do a review!
-Floating Secondary, bought a floating secondary spacer, gonna install that soon here too.
-Replace coil, I broke the wire clips off my current one, and bought some wires from the local supplier, but I found a used coil/wires on eBay for like 25$ so I am gonna buy that pretty quick here and put that on and keep the one on there right now for a spare.
-Black headlight cover, got a black headlight cover given to me, just repainted it and going to try that look.
-Would like to do WRP boards or some sort of other aftermarket running boards.
-Reeds, currently have V-Force Reeds, but boots are getting spider cracks. What do you guys all run for reeds/boots, the boyeson rage cage is like 600$ from local supplier, no way I'm spending that much. Whats best to run for a nearly stock sled?
-Just clean the sled up in general and prepare for next season, biggest thing I'm excited for is the Clutch kit, seen lots of happy Dynamo Joe customers and I know I will be one soon.
So whats all your guy's plans this summer for your toboggan?

This is why the 2007 summit kit has been my 2nd most popular kit i've ever sold and I spend a lot of energy getting owners up to speed on sharing the most information to get their 07 to run the best it can regarding wear parts, track type and engine fitness.
07 Summit 1
07 Summit 2
The backshift and rpm recovery are pretty pretty tight. The hill Eben is climbing, he told me was "edit for bad language" steep. Thanks to the Cochrane, Airdrie & Flint Road Southeast guys, I couldn'ta done it without them!

When the 07 is all up to snuff and a lot of guys touting the softer paddle track, man they go like stink! I still love driving my buddies 151 when i can get the chance.

Stock reeds with a thinner spacer (3/16") will gain more power than v force our boyesen...what year is your sled? Button or roller secondary?

Summer mods for me:
Building a tunnel
Extended billet chaincase
C3 belt drive
2012 brp takeoff 163 2.5" track
2012 timbersled with floats
37" titanium alternative impact a arms
old school BOSS seat (when they were still worth half an as$)

I think that's all that I'm doing

Joey- Can't wait to get the kit ordered and get it in and wait for snow and try er out! Will def make some videos of some flatland riding so all can see how well these 800Rs perform with a little help from you. :Cheers
Revrider- Where can a guy buy the thinner spacer? And also run stock boots I'm assuming too? My sled is a 07 800R with the 08 shortblock in it, its just an adrenaline 144" but found out today it has the roller secondary. Might also try source out a used team secondary to complete my clutching but might stick with stock not sure yet, we'll see what the clutch guru has to say! :righton
Sounds like you have some work ahead of you! Is C3 making a belt drive for the Rev's now? or did they always, for some reason I think I had looked into it and they only made for the XP? And a boss seat is also on my list, but they are so darn expensive and I've heard so many hit and miss stories about the quality so I might just stick with stock to be safe and save some $$ for a trip or two to the mountains next year :checkerd
Hope your guy's summer is goin good and heres to next season ! :Cheers

Oops, didn't realize you had an 07/800r...r motors don't get or need the spacer. Just stock reeds & boots, but still more power than boyesen or v force...that's good you've got the roller and being an adrenaline, you have the good track. C3 made the first 5 late this year for the rev, they'll be in full swing for next year. We're a dealer for them now, so if you are looking into one, contact me for a quote. As for the boss, we're a dealer for them too but I'm only using this one cuz like I said, it's old & I like the old style...it's got a pouch large enough to fit my shovel & handle and still have storage, all without looking like a purse :rofl

Sounds like you too will have a winter to look forward to!

I just completed the switch relocation mod re-wiring of my handlebar harness last week. I hope to replace my one grip/heater soon and complete the addition of my RSI 2" riser bars to my 8" XP riser. Should be really comfortable now!

The front shocks are out for rebuilding.

The spindles/a-arms are out for powdercoating.

Had 3k on the chain, so I replaced that, with new fluid of course.

That should be about it...

Wiped out the crank last ride, so new crank and a new top end. Put on the rest of my vent kit, pre-filters for my pods, a serious underhood cleaning, some tunnel polishing, and need a new ramp and roller. Don't want to spend too much cause I want to snowcheck a 2014.

How bad are your ramps? Typically you can re face them on a polish mill and be good to go :righton

PowderSpecial...
I currently have an 07 Adrenaline that I am selling because I snow checked a 13'. I had no intentions of selling until I found out about the pricing on the 2013 Sport. At the end of the season I completely rebuilt my clutch...rollers, spring cup, buttons, o rings, sliding bushing, etc. I was running the TRA 3 from an 06 w/ the ring gear for the 800R. I am going to sell the TRA 3 and put the stock TRA 7 back on when I sell the sled. I have the DJ secondary helix as well that I am going to sell. I had ordered WRP boards and a boss seat that are still new in package that I am going to sell too. I can almost cover everything you want to do this summer!
Let me know if you are interested in anything.

New dual ring piston top end, hopefully some running boards, home made seat (we'll see how that goes), and I'm thinking I should get a 159 tunnel ext and cooler for my eventual 156x16x3 d&r in the future (that's another box of worms that hopefully will be a next summer mod).
Need any Rev parts? Check out my Rev part out here http://www.dootalk.c...0-rev-part-out/
