What peaked my interest was the option of using a cast boot instead of the stock rubbers.

X 2 not to mention regardless if you decide to increase your timing or not it was tested against a baseline with stk reeds & increased timing so the result is increased air flow. It all comes down to how conservative BRP is with the stock timing and how much you trust all your fuel and deto & safety protection in your computer to add a bit extra timing. Lot of guys on here complaining of the stock reeds chipping and not lasting.

Doesn't take much to tip the thing over.
Just a guess but believe Jim is not done testing yet.
Looking forward to the next round.

These RadValves have worked great in every sled we've put them in. Plus to get rid of those rubber throttle body boots. Its win win. Definatley be getting a set for our E-Tec.
Will the cast boots bolt up for us p-tech guys as well ? I would guess it will. Bet it's a tight fit though.

I dont believe they will. As I suspect you are aware, the stock rubber manifolds curve up...so that the carbs float bowls clear the tunnel of the sled. I believe on a ptec 800R that the Boyesen reeds use the stock simulated rubber manifolds just like the stock reeds. At least they used to and I believe they still do. The Etec throttle bodies dont have a float bowl hanging on the bottom of them to hit the tunnel.
It would have been interesting to have Jim compare the Boyesens to a fresh or new set of stock reeds as well as a set of V-Force, but I believe Boyesen was involved in the testing and would probably not have been in favor of that.
