Picked this up last Tuesday for my Mach Z project. Can anyone guess the displacement and who built it? Yellow Fever is not allowed to answer since he already knows. :doomOOn:

I have a RLE 990 stroker race ported as well by Russ for sale my buddy bought a bigger motor and wants me to sell this one great power ver realible

I dont think you can bore tm 38's big enough for a 990

Pretty much what was said above. Plus they have powerjets added.

I dont think you can bore tm 38's big enough for a 990

40.2 but that still might be a little small depending on what the motor is being used for.

Let's face it...most of the stuff in the lounge is useless banter by the same ten or so people.

Run you're sled, not your mouth.

for drag racing I like to stick with jet changes, rather then power jets but thats just me?

Crank Shop stroker pipes that go into the stock can. This is actually a "trail" motor.

What are the pros and cons of having power jets? I have a set of 44 rounds I was thinking about trying on my improver motor.

Mostly broad fueling at mid/upper rpm ranges and at constant throttle openings. I'll be running this motor on a river with straights that go over 1000ft, so long wide open pulls. Plus they make the carbs a little easier to tune in that application. I have also been advised to add additional cooling to keep the temps in check even though I'm already running the longer 136" chassis exchangers, looking into a bulkhead cooler.
