Sled and gear are loaded in my truck. Where to go to ride tomorrow?

Nice 7F and fresh snow on the slope wish we could combine the snow some sleds and get a good ride in.

Has anyone thought about Eureka? Kenai's good I'm told-but too far to go for me. It might just be Girdwood for Motor Musher Madness Weekend.

Front face is a death trap atm...bottom starts out nice and soft but it hasnt been warm enough this week...I went Wednesday and the top half of the run up behind the tower was rock solid ice, and we dont run studs! Several wrecked sleds from other groups and at least one guy went back early to get his wrist pinned back together. Like Bill said it needs some sun or some warmer temps. The good news is in the past 2 weeks they havent lost harldy ANY snow along the road and its been snowing on top! The berms were still 2x as high as my truck, so its not a rush for that last ride of the season! Like you guys said we will be riding probably into june!

Turnagain is reporting a foot of new snow with more falling now. Weather break tomorrow for Whittier with warm temps and new snow.

The Weatherunderground forecast for Whittier is looking REALLY good for next week.

My sled is loaded and I am off work at 0900 tomorrow.

Ahhh, I don't know about the weatherunderground but I see mostly cloudy with rain showers for Whittier next week. Are you doing a special dance for sun Mark? Love to go just hate to drive all that way for rain.
