All you need is some tubing and a bottle...no more oil from the oil tank spewing out through the vent onto the floor...

I just don't fill the oil tank when its parked. No leaks yet lol

If there's no oil in the tank none can leak out?I just don't fill the oil tank when its parked. No leaks yet lol

so my tank is not full and I decided to jack the temp in my garage to 80 deg for a bit today...interesting results...hmmm, obviously not a puddle of oil, but none the less, oil did seep into the container...

you have to look way up inside tords the top were the headlight assmebly. You will see a hose that comes from the oil tank with a check valve on it, then you will see a hose barb fitting on the end of the check valve.OK sorry to be the dumb one here, but where are you running the tube from?? I see a short tube on mine but you placed a long one to something. What? Thanks

Jdmxz...so just finished replacing bearings and in about a week will replace the chain drive with a belt drive...so the cover is only on with 2 screws...

Things have a tendency to shake loose on these machines,(i.e. "Y" pipe bolts), so I just thought I'd mention it.Jdmxz...so just finished replacing bearings and in about a week will replace the chain drive with a belt drive...so the cover is only on with 2 screws...
