136 vs 144

I have an 06 mxzx 800. Next winter I will be renting a cabin in Pittsburg NH the whole winter so 98% of my riding will be up there. i want to get into doing off-trail riding so i'm either going to extend to 136 and have a 1.75 track on it, or go to 144 with a 1.5 track. what do you guys think will be better overall? Next winter will probably be 60% trails 40% off trail. side note: would i have too extend the cooler going too a 144? if so what is the cost on that. thanks!
