We've all know that Christmas is in December and have even heard of it in July. But, Christmas in April.................sure felt like it the other day when a UPS truck showed up unexpected. See I had been talking with Ian and he made a funny. He told me it would take days to get "the package" when it turns out he had shipped it and I received it the very next day!

I just happened to be home and going in late to work that day too so I didn't have time to even open it. When I got home I got a simple e-mail from Ian saying just "pretty aren't they"........as tired as I was I had forgotten it came and due to my very busy schedule I didn't even have time to really admire them until today.

Awesome! I just have the rear rear zbroz and love it. Next year I want to compliment it with the other three. My question to you...what did that set you back? Did you trade in old ones for it? I can email Ian, but I was just curious.

Made no trades just lots of e-mails and a few phone conversations before I sent him a check for deposit and a couple weeks later he said they were done and I sent him a check for the balance.

Rather not say what I paid. Not a big deal other than if that kinda information fell into the wrong hands while we are building and addition out of pocket I could get scolded by the boss.......lol

Easy on the age cracks......I got a few years under my belt.......and even a few over it! ;)

One of the things that impressed me the most about Ian was even though you know he's busy, he takes the time to listen, gives you feedback, and makes you feel like you're the only one that matters when you're talking to him. I don't think that's a trait that's learned as much as one that just comes naturally to some people. I'm not talking the gift of gab, but the gift of layman's terms without noticeable effort.

He also very much tolerated my odd sense of humor when talking live even if I did have to often say "that was a joke"

Now that I've gone Monster Performance I hope I get just that with a touch of 2 stroke smoke....

Those are 96 studboy 1.625. They went on the intense that I have on the 500ss.

I am also thinking about studs for the BCX...I am going to leave it unstudded for now, ride it and go from there.

Love those shocks  We too are building an addition out of pocket, actually sold my spare 700RS engine to help fund the cause. I just got a quote on spray foam insultion and would need to sell my spare sled to cover that, so fiberglass it is!!

You can buy DIY spray foam kits.I used one and it saved me a ton .Look into it.
