I have both and they both have there place i like the precisions better on hard pack and like the pilots better in softer deeper snow.My precisions never dart but my pilots will at times. Some will tell ya precisions are junk but i will always have a pair around for hard pac trail rideing.. :revinmotion:

Simmons skis got my vote after this year for the riding i do. Never used either(5.7 / precisions) but what kind of riding do you, that will determine what you might want.

I have had stock 2003 REV skis(Simmons knockoffs), SLP, C&A and Simmons.

My oppinion would go with the Simmons. No darting and great design for floatation.

Precision by far on hard pack groomed stuff with 2 inches or less of loose on top.

Pilots on anything with more than 4 inches loose.

So it depends on where you spend your time as to the correct answer to "better"

precision now that so many pilot skies are on the trail

problem is most any ski will dart when crossing a similar ski track

dont think you can buy new precision any more

The RS skis are not as aggressive as C& A skis.
