yes you are correct. thats why i need to have a boondocker box if i want to upgrade my zozzle and other stuff on it.From what I hear NOX has no lubrication qualities so I would imagine it would be used sparingly. Engine seizure is a nasty thing.
but there kits seem to be fine from what iv seen at 30hp 40hp and 50hp some are running 60hp without a boondocker...idk if ill do that though lol
like i said i dont really know much about it on sleds its new to me on here and im still playing with it to see how everything holds up. after getting some experience with it ill start messing around.
if i wreck my motor it gives me an excuse to just but an 880 in my REV

On trail for me = 600 etec or 1200 4tec
50/50 on/off trail for me = 600 etec or 800 etec
20/80 on/off trail for me = 800 etec

Say you could only pick one for all your riding. My etec 600 was fine on the trails but once I started doing a lot more off trail, it lagged behind the 800s. It just didn't have the grunt needed to spin a deep lug track off trail like the 800s. The difference was really noticeable.
On trail for me = 600 etec or 1200 4tec
50/50 on/off trail for me = 600 etec or 800 etec
20/80 on/off trail for me = 800 etec
Which one would it be?

I have run the 600 triple polaris also and they will not come close to a 600 twin Doo on gas mileage..I had a 600 triple that had a ten gallon tank and you better be at a gas pump at 80 miles or you would be out of gas.Yep they are. 580 or 600cc triples depending on year made. It got about the same milage as the 600cc Doo twin.

A lot of any machines milage depends on how hard you ride them. With my 800 I have gotten as much as 18+ or as litte as under 10 mpg while schooling a couple buds. My brother still has his XLT that I was basing this on.I have run the 600 triple polaris also and they will not come close to a 600 twin Doo on gas mileage..I had a 600 triple that had a ten gallon tank and you better be at a gas pump at 80 miles or you would be out of gas.
But then again I ride much more aggressively than him so I'll be willing to admit error on this matter.

I'd pick the 800 etec. It has great power, lots of torque, good gas and oil mileage, and comes in a light package. Overall, it requires the fewest compromises. My second choice would be the 1200 4tec and my third, the 600 etec.
They are all great motors.

I was 'this close' to getting the 800 but opted for the 1200 just for the dependability factor. Kind of tired of turning wrenches.I'd pick the 800 etec. I'm sure you will like the 1200 Gade. I had one and other than deep snow off-trail, loved it.
Make sure you put the Pilot 6.9 skis on it. Wider skis really helped my 1200 Gade on and off trail.
