Hey guys I've got a 2010 800r renegade that I can't seem to get to corner flat always wants to lift the inner ski no matter what I do. I'm running USI X2 skis with stud boy shaper bars with lots of carbide and studs up the middle. How can I get it to corner flater?

It is a simple matter of weight transfer and the balance of springs. How much do you weigh?
You have to remember that productions springs are built for an "average" rider weight. If you have a loose strap
on the undercarriage and you are above 200#'s your problem is simple.

I weigh 240# dressed and wanted to rid my sled of the problem you are seeing. IN the end I went up on front spring by 30#'s,
tightened the strap two holes and moved the rear suspension block to allow less weight transfer, huge difference.

If you are into pulling your skis 2' in the air this is not the hot ticket, if you want to corner fast it is.

I've shortened the limiter strap on every sled I've had to help increase ski pressure and I agree that it helps with cornering a ton. I just ordered a '13 Gade X which is going to be my first sled with a longer track. Did you find that it made the steering a lot heavier on your Gade when you shortened the strap? On my 06 shorty it definitely made it heavy but I'm wondering how the longer track will play into the mix?

If you just do the strap that can happen, things like carbide length and number also have a great effect. When you move the strap it will help if you rotate the block. Rider weight is also a factor, if you are a heavyweight like me go up on the rear springs and that will slow down the transfer of weight. Too soft a front spring is also the easy change to balance cornering.
