I dont always have sex, but when i do i choose skidoo because my woman cant take the BANGING!

You have a clogged main or pilot jet for the running issue. The fuel pouring out is from an o ring that goes bad on the top portion of the needle & seat. You have to pull the tube out that the n/s rides in, and it is in the end of that tube that holds the o ring. They are about $2.50 for that little part and you need to order it for the Keihin carb from a bike dealer (I got one thru Parts Unlimited or a KTM dealer) - auto parts stores wont carry one that size. The Keihin FCR 41 in the 520 can be a little finicky if it sits for awhile - like over a year - likes to clog up. OR your not getting enuf fuel to the motor because that o ring is failing soo bad.wow... i think i remember why i have not logged onto dootalk for so long... thanks for the help guys!!! geeze.

instead of buying lots of junk why not save your money and buy one nice thing that actually runs....just saying
LOL, unless you ride supercross, I'd take a 10 year old KTM over a 2 year old Japanese bike any day. Although I do have a soft spot for the old steel frame honda 250s, KTM makes the best trail bike and even though I'm not a 4 stroke fan they seem to have less problems with their 4 stroke motors than the ricers.

i wasnt saying KTMs are junk....but everything he buys has problems and then he comes on here and wants to do a complete rebuild and turbo it....and then ends up just saying F it....and not finish anything..theres usually a reason for why i say things...and most of the time its sarcasticLOL, unless you ride supercross, I'd take a 10 year old KTM over a 2 year old Japanese bike any day. The 520 is wayy to big to be a contender in hare scrambles unless you truly are a skilled professional. I am not judging your skill level in anyway, but I dont think you will be competing at "A" level - especially here in the midwest and especially in the open class. Your best bet is to compete in your age bracket under a "B" level if you want to be competitive in any way. I would even consider selling the 520 for nice 450 or better yet 250(2 or 4) - you'd be far better off than the powerhouse 520.
I have raced both my 520 and my 250 and find that my 250 2 stroke is far better than my monster 520 - it simply has too much power for that type of racing - unuseable power. Hard to explain - but it will get you in more trouble than it will do good. If you lived in an area where you were blazin across the desert - then YES the 520 would be the bike of choice. But most of the terrain in the midwest hare scrambles is tighter, woodsy, rocky type terrain - all of which the 520 will beat you down. You will be faster on a smaller bike - trust me.
If memory serves me right - you had/have a Yamaha 250 F ??? if so, use that bike
