I just got a 2010 Renegade X 800R from my friend's brother.
He had put in a new DESS but still unable to go off idle.
How do I get everything back in order?
Would the black box & DESS need to be sent to any skidoo dealer?
I am in Arviat and the closest dealer is in Thompson, MB.
I will be calling them tomorrow if they are able to help me.

Yes, you need to have the sled/key programmed to work together. If it didn't work that way, anyone could put a key on your sled and start it and take off.
It will start with another key, just won't allow engagement.
